The final step in garlic planting at Rustic Roots Farm is mulching. We upgraded to a bigger blower last year, but we still need to use some muscle breaking down those large squares of straw to feed them into the machine. It's a dirty, itchy job that is the least favorite of 4 out of 4 of us. But tucking the field of garlic cloves in for the winter is important where we live. | Rustic Roots Farm - MN
