Ackee & Saltfish seasoned rice…have you ever tried it? Save this recipe and let me know when you try it! 🌶️🌶️ - 1 lb saltfish (boil the excess salt first. I do 2 rounds of boiling) - 1 lb Kabocha squash, peeled & cut into cubes - 1 can of Ackee - 1 can of Coconut Milk - 2 cups of Rice - 2 cups of water - 1 tbsp of Flavored Soup Mix -1/2 tsp Turmeric - 1/2 onion, chopped - 2 scallion, chopped - Few sprigs of Thyme - 1 Scotch Bonnet pepper or Habanero - Couple allspice berries -2 tbsp of Avocado
