Editor disappears with absolutely zero reason or error after exiting play mode.

Setup: Unity 2020.3.8, VR Unity XRTK, Oculus XR Plugin. I start up unity and can test my project in play mode with no error. When play mode is exited two issues occur: 1) Unable for Oculus Quest 2 to initialize playmode after that first play mode is exited. 2) roughly 25 seconds goes by before unity editor closes by itself, no errors presented.
