Over a month ago, House Republicans PASSED a continuing resolution that would have funded the government at current spending levels. Our legislation would have prevented a shutdown. Since then, Senate Democrats have blocked this legislation 11 times. 60 votes are needed to pass the CR in the Senate, meaning Democrats will have to join Republicans to reopen the government. The only Democrats voting to reopen the government are Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Raphael Warnock (D-GA), and Ben Ray Luján (D-NM).
